Odhran has a deep knowledge of Bishop Griver, being the author of the seminal work Martin Griver - Unearthed: The Life of a Spanish Missionary Priest Who Became a Bishop in Colonial Western Australia, 1814 - 1886.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSarah Connor was engaged to translate the letters and was ably assisted by Eugenia Schettino who is herself a native Spanish speaker and translator. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe vast majority of the letters are in Spanish but there was a number in English in later years as Bishop Griver became more comfortable with the language, and these have been transcribed by Sarah exactly as Griver wrote them.
